2007 ROC AWARDS Breakfast

Tickets are now on sale for the 2007 ROC Award Breakfast to be held at the Clarion Meridian Hotel, Monday morning, September 10, at 7:00 a.m. We will enjoy a time to share a breakfast, good fellowship, and stories of transformed lives.

Each year, ROC selects two honorees chosen for their outstanding community service and public testimony of God’s grace. For 2007, the honorees are David Green and Glenn Cranfield:

David Green is CEO and Founder of Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., and is a co-author of More Than a Hobby: How a $600 Startup Became America's Home and Craft Superstore. The Greens have been great friends of Reaching Our City, and Hobby Lobby has assisted the purchase and renovation of the building we occupy on 10^th Street. Their investment in this ministry has been a significant factor in our ability to grow and provide services.

Rev. Glenn Cranfield is the former President and CEO of City Rescue Mission in Oklahoma City, and is presently assigned as Senior Pastor at the Capitol Hill Assembly of God. Rev. Cranfield left the City Rescue Mission in December of 2006, following nine years at the helm of the city mission that provides over 1300 meals daily and 488 beds each night for the homeless. Rev. Cranfield continues to put a spotlight on the difficulties of the homeless and the great need for homeless services in Oklahoma City.

We have enjoyed a banner year, and would like to share our good news with you. Please join us for this exceptional event. Enclosed is a flyer describing the cost for individuals ($35), for tables ($350), and for sponsorships (in the amounts of $500, $1,000 and $5,000). The purchase of a table or sponsorship allows you to honor your friends, family, and/or employees by asking them to accompany you and sit at your table.
